The wheel
Hold it like this.
Quarter to three. Thumbs outside the rim. Everything else, the wheel will teach you. Tap each point to see what it does.

The motor: force feedback
Behind the wheel sits a direct-drive motor. It pushes back with the forces the car feels: the wheel goes light when the front tyres slide, heavy in a fast corner, and jolts over kerbs. Listen to it. It is the car talking.
Try it
Drag the wheel. Keep the car between the lines.
Nice and steady. Small inputs, big results.
Keyboard: left and right arrows steer, space centres.
Small inputs
Real cars turn with tiny movements. If you are crossing your arms, you are turning too much.
Look ahead
Your hands follow your eyes. Look at the exit of the corner, not the wall.
Let it self-centre
When the corner opens, relax your grip and let the wheel unwind on its own.
